ZOLL AED Plus CPR-D electrodes

The ZOLL AED Plus CPR-D electrodes, also known as ZOLL AED Plus CPR-D Padz, are designed for use with the ZOLL AED Plus. This electrode set consists of a single piece, making it easier to correctly position the electrodes on the victim's chest.

You can also use these Padz on larger victims: the CPR-D electrodes can be torn in half in one motion. You can then place both halves in the correct positions on the victim's chest.

These electrodes feature a CPR sensor that monitors the depth and rate of chest compressions during resuscitation. The AED uses this information to adjust its voice prompts, for example, by instructing the rescuer to press harder on the chest.

These electrodes are self-adhesive. The packaging and the electrodes themselves show how to apply the Padz to the victim's chest.

These ZOLL AED Plus CPR-D electrodes are suitable only for use on adults. For using a ZOLL AED Plus AED on children weighing up to 25 kg and/or aged 8 or under, you can use ZOLL AED Plus Stat Padz II pediatric electrodes. These pediatric electrodes do not consist of a single piece, but rather two separate, smaller electrodes.

How do I replace the ZOLL AED Plus CPR-D electrodes?

These electrodes have a long shelf life of 5 years. This means you need to replace the electrodes every 5 years, or sooner if the packaging is damaged or after the device has been used. 

Do the electrodes on your AED need replacing? You can order new ZOLL AED Plus CPR-D adult electrodes from AED-Partner and connect them to your AED in advance. You can dispose of the old electrodes with small electronic waste or general waste.

Do you want to replace the batteries at the same time as the electrodes? AED-Partner also offers a set of 10 ZOLL AED Plus batteries.

Why do you need to replace these ZOLL electrodes regularly?

The lifespan of these electrodes depends on the adhesive gel layer applied to them. Over time, this conductive gel can dry out, reducing the electrodes' effectiveness. It is therefore vital that your AED is always equipped with electrodes that are within their shelf life.

Service Plan

Regular maintenance ensures your AED is always ready for use. You can take out a service plan with AED-Partner to handle this maintenance.
