N\u00e9anmoins, un DAE (d\u00e9fibrillateur automatis\u00e9 externe) dans une \u00e9cole a une grande valeur. Pas seulement pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves souffrant de troubles du rythme cardiaque, mais aussi pour le personnel enseignant, les parents et les habitants du quartier. Lorsqu'un DAE est plac\u00e9 \u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur, il contribue \u00e0 un r\u00e9seau de DAE couvrant la zone environnante.
